For many of us, lockdowns from the pandemic meant being forced to shelter in place and work from home. For many others, it meant working on the front lines even in unprecedented uncertainties. For touring musicians, however, the pandemic meant not being able to workâat all. Although now, as we get back to normal, we are probably heading for a creative boom and neighboring touring frenzy unlike anything the global electronic music industry has ever seen before. Leading the charge is the veteran of the 12th Planet force, announcing his all-new Supernova EP, by abandoning the first part of the project, “Clairvoyant”, and establishing a stretch of road of 25 stops to start. Prior to full delivery of the EP, 12th Planet said Dancing astronaut,
âI’m really excited for this 2021 tour. Last year my tour was put on hold just as we were about to start due to COVID-19. Since then I have been working at home in the studio and have been waiting for this moment for over a year now. I can’t wait to play all the new music I’ve worked on, especially the songs from my next EP ‘Supernova’. I also worked closely with Team Immanent on creating a new visual show for the tour. On top of that, I have new products about to be released for this summer and for the tour. I can’t wait for everyone to see it. All in all, I am absolutely ready to hit the road again.
The Supernova Tour is set to begin in Los Angeles on August 13 and run through November, hitting Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and more. Support for the tour has yet to be publicly announced, however, look for producer âSwampex Terrestrialâ to represent on the road with a talented cast of bass music’s best. See the full tour poster and hear the lead single from Supernova below.
