In a series of tweets, “No More Parties” rapper Coi Leray addressed critics who dismissed her as a “TikTok artist” and defended BIA after her performance at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

Leray has been the target of many trolls recently, with some criticizing her latest music and others shaming her. The main criticism is the suggestion that she is only popular on TikTok, despite her success which also results in the Billboard Hot 100 with a number of her tracks.

On Tuesday, she posted a screenshot of the top tracks on TikTok in the US. “TWINNEM”, one of his latest releases, was No. 1 in the charts earlier this month. “The Tik Tok artist goes straight to Billboard every time, so call me a Billboard artist every time you want to throw Tik Tok there,” she wrote on Thursday.

After that, she turned her attention to the reviews BIA received following her performance at the BET Hip Hop Awards. “These bitches got no hits,” she wrote in a BIA quote-tweet addressing critics, which also featured an animated video of her performance. “STEP 1 IDGAF DEAD CROWD BED CROWD WE DO OUTSIDE WHILE THEY GO OUT HERE MAKING SMD VIBES ALL HATERS IN YALL.” She continued to praise BIA in a second tweet and said she couldn’t wait to have a new track from her.

When a Twitter user suggested that they “disagree” with her that she makes hits, she replied, “Who cares what you think. Your opinion doesn’t drive you crazy. n *** a? Lol, you all smoke crack cocaine.
