Drakeo The Ruler was stabbed during the Once Upon A Time in LA concert.
After initial unconfirmed media reports, it has now been established that the underground LA rapper was indeed stabbed during the festival held at Banc of California and Exposition Park in Los Angeles, Calif., On Saturday night.
Drakeo was released from prison just over a year ago after reaching a plea deal with authorities, where he had been awaiting trial for years. Since then, he has carried out several projects, the last of which is titled so cold i do em 2 come out earlier this month. It served as a sequel to the 2016 original.
The festival continues at this point, but Snoop Dogg is reportedly not performing while 50 Cent is still expected to take the stage. The festival got a lot of buzz due to the lineup with stars like Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Ice Cube, YG and even The Game (sharing the same lineup with 50 after many years)
USC DPS Lt. Ellerson said Drakeo was taken to a local hospital after being stabbed. Backstage is now a crime scene, according to a report by journalist Tomas Mier.
UPDATE: @Snoop Dogg will no longer be performing at Once Upon a Time in LA tonight, but 50 Cent is still expected to take the stage despite being stabbed by @IamMRMOSELY, according to the police.

Drakeo’s state of health is not known at this time and no one is in custody for the incident yet. We pray that he will make it through.
