EDWIN is not only a Japanese denim brand, but also a cultural influencer, dissolving boundaries with the creation of their series of specially selected international blends.
Since 2014, The EDWIN Music ChanneI has been an incubator of exciting and genre-defying mixes led by world-renowned DJs, collectors, musicians, producers, taste makers sitting at the intersection of underground glory and abstract electro.
To honor its historic 100th mix, ten participants over the years have each produced a 3-minute track for an exclusive, limited-edition tape release, now available for free in EDWIN stores across London, Milan, Berlin and Paris, alongside a commemorative T-shirt to mark the occasion.
The Lucid Mix is ââa transnational affair, featuring exclusive music from pioneers spanning the vast expanse of the electronic music world. Expect songs from the artist Brothers From Different Mothers DJ Tarba, German drum’n’bass legend Kabuki, electronic illusionist Fantastic twins, French duo Lueke & Lippie, Argentinian producer Ana Helder, boss of the Amsterdam-based label Brew Robert bergman, left-wing pop electronic producer from Tokyo Slow sapphires, Greek dub innovator Jay Glass Dubs, Bristol based bass architect Bruce and ghost dance magician Toulouse Low Trax.

EDWIN has a rich history. Founded in post-war Tokyo by Mr. Tsunemi, the company originally imported denim from the United States. As the demand for denim increased in Japan, the company began to manufacture its own in-house designs.
In 1961, EDWIN the jeans were the densest in the world, incorporating the now iconic rainbow edge. In the following decades, EDWIN has grown into one of the most iconic and beloved brands in the world, with a range of clothing alongside its classic denim origins.
Over the next few months SHOCK are honored to amplify the EDWIN Music Channel, featuring a host of emerging producers and DJs spanning stages and genres.
