Fred again.. blows the roof off while filming Boiler Room: Watch

Fred again… took over the iconic London club, Boiler room, for a massive set of ids and changes never before seen last weekend. While his set was just over an hour long, that’s all EDM Twitter can talk about, arguably even eclipsing Tomorrowland’s third weekend with excitement over the mix as well as some of the featured collaborations. which were unveiled during the performance.

If there was ever any doubt about Fred’s talent…he may have broken all the media with his work last week. On the same day as his show quitting Boiler Room, he also dropped his massive collaboration with Swedish House Mafia and Future, Turn on the light again…, a massive track that figured as a perfect centerpiece for his Boiler Room stop. While having a new single with Swedish House Mafia released the same day they started their first world tour in nearly a decade seems unbeatable, it was the mention of another legendary producer who really made this performance. a performance not to be missed. While Skrillex has been relatively quiet, stepping out of his studio this year to announce a few festival cancellations, Fred again dropped several IDs featuring the dubstep producer. Several IDs were played that seemed to again feature the combined works of Skrillex and Fred, but it was the addition of Four Tet to multiple IDs that really broke the internet. The combined talents and work of the three producers reveal artists at the top of their game, eager to create art at the highest level and continue to push the boundaries of electronic music.

The set is a masterpiece of production, DJing and pure passion for craftsmanship. Fred again.. and the whole crowd deliver an experience that truly engages and surprises the listener, whether they’re there or simply forced to listen from home out of envy of those who may have witnessed it.
