What’s up, Hip-Hop Wired Nation? We are a little late updating our latest edition of FRSH CRT AKA Certified Fresh within a few days. Part of our duty as a publication and team is to teach the masses who’s doing what musically and there’s no better way to do that than with our bi-weekly CRT FRSH (Certified Fresh) playlist.
CRT FRSH playlist is a labor of love. We do not accept payments or do favors. We only add joints to our playlist that fit the theme and vision we are looking for and do not seek to waste the listener’s time. Also, we don’t stick to one Hip-Hop way. We believe all aspects of music should be illuminated, from young lions in the trenches to those hoping for a one-hit blast to grizzled veterans pumping their chests out with a lot more to say. .
We had to start our list with the title track by DJ Khaled GOD HAS MADE album as Jay-Z delivered an anchor verse on a group cut with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne that still has social media locked in heated debate. We follow this track with Offset’s new “CODE” featuring Moneybagg Yo, and JID returns with “Bruddanem” from his excellent album The Eternal Story with Lil Durk.
Joey BadA$$ is still add finishing touches on his third studio album 2000 and the track “Let It Breathe”, released in 2021, will be added to a deluxe version of the Pro Era member’s latest album. Lil Tjay, still on the road to recovery after being shot, released the soulful “Beat the Odds” and we have the track “Stigmata” by Roc Marciano and The Alchemist’s The bones of the elephant man collaboration.
Shout out to Lil Tecca, Larry June, Kenny Mason, Jay Worthy, YBN Hamhir, Planet Asia, Benny The Butcher, Rapper Big Pooh, Termanology, Eyedress, AKAI SOLO, Sha Hef, Meyhem Lauren, Sauce Walka, and more! Check out the new collection of tracks below. We will update in two weeks.
