George FitzGerald Announces New Album, Shares Euphoric Debut Single “Cold”

English producer George Fitzgerald has announced a new album to be released in September with lead single “Cold”, a euphoric and accessible electronic cut.

Whether you know it or not, you’ve heard George Fitzgerald throughout his long career with visceral, emotive cuts of electronic music. His 2018 release “Roll Back” starring Lil Silva continues a high turnover in the Stoney Roads office to this day.

His unwavering dedication to the toughest and most complex electronic offerings has only refined and matured his output over the years and appears to culminate in his forthcoming album “Stellar Drifting” due out September 2nd.

The album is said to be an “interpretation of the sound of total freedom” which “explores this sense of life without borders”. with FitzGerald turning to space for inspiration, forming the album’s building blocks from space imagery and audio from space probes.

The album’s first single is called “Cold” and is familiar yet distinctive with undulating synth lines and a warm, woodsy vocal dusted lightly over the top. For those who need a “sounds like”, this certainly comes across in the worlds of Tourist, Bonobo, Caribou and Four Tet.
