What’s up, Hip-Hop Wired Nation? We are back with the first edition of FRSH CRT AKA Certified Fresh for June. Part of our duty as a publication and team is to teach the masses who’s doing what musically and there’s no better way to do that than with our bi-weekly CRT FRSH (Certified Fresh) playlist.

CRT FRSH playlist is a labor of love. We do not accept payments or do favors. We only add joints to our playlist that fit the theme and vision we are looking for and do not seek to waste the listener’s time. Also, we don’t stick to one Hip-Hop way. We believe that all aspects of music should be illuminated, whether it’s young lions in the trenches, those hoping for a one-hit blast, or grizzled veterans who puff out their chests and have a lot more to say.

This week’s playlist is larger than normal since we’ve released updates, but we’re happy to get back to it. We open things up with “N95” by Kendrick Lamar from his excellent Mr. Morale and Big Steps album. Doja Cat Checks In With New ‘Vegas’ ELVIS biopic soundtrack.

PG County IDK has connected to Canada’s KAYTRANADA for the Simple. EP and the track “Dog Food” featuring Denzel Curry is one of the standouts. Action Bronson returned to the masses with Cocodrillo Turbo and the track “Estaciones” alongside Hologram is a total treat. Chance The Rapper appears on the list with “Bar About A Bar”, and we have Post Malone and Doja Cat with “I Like You (A Happier Song)” from Posty’s new album, The Hollywood Bleed.

One of the goals of CRT FRSH is to shine a light on well-known artists releasing new work, but also to give those unannounced acts a chance. Shout out to Hus KingPin, G Bae Bae, Yinka Diz, Sahtyre, Holstar (a CRT FRSH alumnus from Zambia), Planet Asia, Boregard., Kipp Stone, Sleep Sinatra, kay anthony, 100grandroyce, Namir Blade, ibliss, Maassai, Fresh Daily, Marlon Craft, and more.
