Chris Evert didn’t understand rap songs
In 2016, during a playful interview with the tennis pro, the interviewer asked her about the songs on her playlist. She cited many of the greatest songs of the 90s, such as Hello by Adele, Hands to Myself by Selena Gomez and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John and Billy Joel.
She said her song selection was a bit old-fashioned. But she never developed a taste for listening to rap songs. She says, “I know rap is hot and my kids love it, but I don’t understand.” However, the 18-time Grand Slam champion has three sons and all of them are rap fans. But just like a mother, she cannot settle her emptiness with this new kind of music.

However, she thought singers like Elton John, Billy Joel, Frankie Valli and Phil Collins were timeless. They gave the best evergreen hits of the time.
Evert’s way of parenting
The American tennis champion had strict parents. This resulted in a rigid and traditional upbringing for the child with planning. The 18-time Grand Slam champion, who comes from a religious family, decided to be a tender-hearted mother to her three sons. She makes every effort for her children despite being a single mother.
