NORTHALSTED – Market days returned this weekend after a year-long absence due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Crowds of people filled the streets of Northalsted to celebrate the festival, which turned into a celebration of LGBTQ pride.

The festival was not without controversy, as Howard Brown called for more coronavirus safety precautions. The event offered vaccinations and tests.

But the weekend was a very happy one, with people dancing, waving rainbow flags and fans, and buying from local vendors.
