“Optimist” by FINNEAS

FINNEAS capitalizes on its talents.

The artist and producer, also known as Finneas O’Connell, is the brother of Billie Eilish, who escapes the genre, producing his music throughout their two careers. While he may not be able to escape the shadow of his younger sister, he’s developing an individual platform with the October 15 release “Optimist,” which comes a year after O’Connell’s debut EP. .

With a modulated voice and sentimental tone, his recent single “The 90s” recalls the simplicity of youth with heavy, muddled production unfamiliar to the O’Connell brand. On the other hand, the alternative pop artist’s signature crooning crooning emerges in the single “What They’ll Say About Us”. The track is a testament to its own clean and clear artistic territory, closer to Eilish’s stripped “Happier Than Ever” than to his previous hit “bad guy” and thick production.

With many comparisons, O’Connell is optimistic he can chart his own course.

“=” by Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran is coming out of retirement.

The English singer-songwriter is back with his fourth studio album “=”, which will be released on October 29th. Despite announcing his retirement from music after his marriage and the birth of his first child, Sheeran said he felt compelled to release his latest record due to the dramatic change in the trajectory of his life. The next album, with a title that follows the pattern of mathematical symbols from his past records, is a pivotal project that reflects his journey as father and husband.

The first single “Bad Habits” sums up her desire to grow as a devoted partner, avoiding constant partying habits and heavy drinking. The music video for the track features Sheeran as a menacing vampire, partying with wild abandon overnight until he finally transforms into himself on a daily basis once the day is up. Aside from the video storyline, the song’s heavy synth output and self-tuned vocals contrast sharply with Sheeran’s stripped-down acoustic guitar sound, marking a dramatic sonic change that matches the record’s thematic growth.

But whether or not Sheeran himself grew up is a question only his album can answer.

“Voyage” by ABBA

ABBA’s “Voyage” is made for the dancing queens of the world.

After almost 40 years without new music from the band, the Swedish musicians have come together to record their album, which will be released on November 5th. The group released two singles, “I Still Have Faith In You” and “Don’t Shut Me Down,” with dynamic beats and meaningful vocals reminiscent of their previous music. While “Don’t Shut Me Down” is a disco track, “I Still Have Faith In You” is an emotional ballad similar to “The Winner Takes It All”, one of the band’s most famous songs.

A welcome addition to the band’s discography, “Don’t Shut Me Down” reflects the changes the members have undergone over the years – such as the two divorces within the four-member group. While this rocky past may have led to their breakup in the 1980s, the band is back with a lineup of groovy new music.

And as ABBA’s new journey begins, he’s proven he’s hot, he’s turned on, and won’t be stopped.
