Two more superstar headliners have been confirmed for a new series of concerts staged for Masters Week 2022 in Augusta.
Rappers Pitbull and Nelly will perform at Lake Olmstead Stadium, alongside country musicians Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton for their respective shows announced in mid-September, according to spokesperson Megan Paquin by email Thursday night.
Nelly will open for Shelton on Wednesday April 6 and Pitbull will open for McGraw on Thursday April 7. All four are multi-platinum artists and are prominent names in their respective genres.

The performances are part of XPR Augusta, a new multi-night VIP-style concert series hosted by entertainment company C4 Live during Masters Week, April 4-10. The Masters Tournament will take place April 7-10 at the Augusta National Golf Club.
Paquin said another headliner and opening act for an April 8 show will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Augusta Commission approved C4 Live to complete a $ 1.7 million renovation of the Lake Olmstead stadium in January 2020. The Masters Week shows will be the first of many events produced by C4. A soul music festival is in preparation for the end of April 2022.
