Super Bowl halftime show headliner Snoop Dogg still dreams of one day collaborating with the elusive soul singer Sade.
‘Maybe Def Jam and Universal can shake that up. I didn’t think it could happen,’ the 50-year-old rap superstar said at his Inglewood studio on Tuesday.
‘Be careful. We’ll put it in the air. Put on a bat signal saying, “You can call me.” ‘

Snoop – whose favorite Sade song is Your Love Is King – remembered wistfully being mesmerized by the 63-year-old Nigerian-Briton at one of his gigs.
“There were all kinds of visual effects and shit where she was disappearing and she was on top of the sky,” smiled Dogg (born Calvin Broadus).
‘[My friend] was like “Do you want to go meet her?” And I was like [no]. I was nervous as a motherfucker. Like, no. I was too nervous! “No, I’m cool.” I’ll act like this, I’m cool with a heartbeat faster than a motherfucker.
“He was like, ‘Let’s go meet him!’ And I was like, ‘[No]. We have to go, there are going to be a lot of cars trying to get out of here.

The 61-year-old Englishman told Rated R&B in 2018 that Sade and the band have been “working on a new album” which will be released “when we’re happy”.
‘[Sade’s] not interested in fame or anything else [other] Things. She likes to spread art. So when he’s ready he’ll be out,’ Stuart teased.
