Two years after his weekly series patriot act was canceled by Netflix, Hasan Minhaj returns to the streamer with a new comedy special, The King’s Jester. Also today: Fat Joe hosts the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, PBS explores black American history, Bachelor in Paradise brings new surprises, and more. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

Hasan Minhaj: The King’s Jester: Comedy special. Hasan Mihaj shares his thoughts on fertility, fatherhood and free speech in his second Netflix special, directed by his patriot act co-creator Prashanth Venkataramanujam. Watch the trailer. Streaming on Netflix

BET Hip Hop Awards 2022: Special presentation. The biggest names in hip-hop gather at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, Georgia for BET’s annual celebration. Fat Joe is on hand as host, while French Montana, Pusha T and Glorilla are set to perform. 9:00 p.m. ET on BET

Making America Black: Through the Vine: First of the docuseries. Historian and filmmaker Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. hosts a four-part series tracing the vast social networks and organizations created by and for black people in America. The first explores how free blacks in the North and South built cities and created schools to meet the political, economic and social needs of the community. Watch the trailer. 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS

Bachelor in Paradise: New episode. The Bachelor Nation alums continue to make surprising connections and go on highly produced dates as they fall and fall in love in the most dramatic ways. 8 p.m. ET on ABC

The voice: New episode. Coaches Camila Cabello, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani race to complete their teams in the penultimate blind audition. 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC

FBI: New episode. As the team investigates a murderous robbery that collected a cache of automatic weapons for the killers, they discover that one of the culprits is a classmate of Jubal’s son (Jeremy Sisto), who is reluctant to cooperate with the case. Sherwood: First in the series. Inspired by true events in post-Brexit Britain, this BBC series stars David Morrissey as a detective investigating two shocking murders that have shattered an already fractured community in Nottinghamshire. Watch the trailer. Broadcast on Britbox

The Bachelorette: Complete Season 18. After airing last fall on ABC, Michelle Young’s dating show season is coming to Hulu in its entirety. Young, an elementary school teacher and former Division I basketball player, was the second Black Bachelorette in franchise history. Watch the preview. Streaming on Hulu

The patient: New episode. Dr. Strauss (Steve Carell) and Sam (Domhnall Gleeson) attempt to forge new relationships in their quest for an elusive peace. Streaming on FX on Hulu

Leonardo: Season 1 finale. With time running out, Stefano (Freddie Highmore) races to save Leonardo (Aidan Turner) and finally discovers the truth behind his biggest kept secret. Leonardo has been renewed for a second season internationally, but The CW has yet to announce if it will air the drama in the United States. 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW

Devils: Season 2 finale. As the world grapples with the COVID pandemic, Massimo (Alessandro Borghi) sees an opportunity to finally get justice. But to succeed, he will need unlikely allies to join forces and help him revolutionize global finance. 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW

La Brea: New episode. As Gavin (Eoin Macken) enlists his grandfather’s help in guiding him to his missing wife, Eve (Natalie Zea) and Levi (Nicholas Gonzalez) navigate a terrifying new reality. Watch the preview. 9:00 p.m. ET on NBC
