After all the talking and teasing, Matt Reeves’ second trailer The batman is finally here and yeah, it looks damn good.

Yes we know that dusk Star Robert Pattinson was an especially interesting choice for donning the cape and cow, but he continues to have us believe because it looks like he can actually pull it off. In the trailer released today during DC’s Fandome, we find the Dark Knight battling a gang of criminals with clown faces (a Joker appearance has not been confirmed for this film), while ‘he’s on the tail of a seemingly scarred penguin (Colin Farrell).

More like one Batman: first year Arc of the story, the Caped Crusader seems to present itself to anyone unlucky enough to come across it. All the while, he’s being courted by Catwoman herself, Zoe Kravitz. While we don’t get much from The Riddler (Paul Dano), his voiceover work seems to suggest that he will play a complex role in the film’s plot. We can’t wait to see what kind of puzzles he leaves for Batman to solve.
